Grab your TARDIS and get ready for the time traveling game of ever-changing rules!
Ah Fluxx - it's definitely an old favorite of mine. And it's certainly been around for more than just a little while. Originally published in 19961, Fluxx has seen five versions, more than 20 different themes, and printings in 6 languages! And who could blame them? Fluxx is easy to learn, quick to play, and exceptionally addictive, and it's a Mensa Select winner to boot too!
So what is Fluxx? Well, it's the card game of ever-changing rules! It all starts out with a simple rule - draw one card, and play one card. Ultimately, you want to build up a set of "Keepers" that will match to the current "Goal" of the game. Sounds pretty easy, right? It is, except the rules keep changing, and so does the goal of the game. One minute you could be smelling the sweet scent of victory, merely a turn away from winning, then all of a sudden your friend swaps the Goal and all of your hard work is for naught!
But all is not lost, maybe that Action card you've been jealously guarding will undo the damage caused by your conniving companion, and set you back on the road to sweet, sweet revenge. And all in the space of about 10 minutes.
Allons-y to Doctor Who Fluxx!
No strangers to time travel themselves, Looney Labs released Doctor Who Fluxx, the latest theme to join the (Galli) fray this past November, and apparently one that they have wanted to add to the mix "years and years!" Keeping the great mechanics of the original game, Doctor Who Fluxx will allow fans of the game and of the the show to
Join with various regenerations of the Doctor, some companions, Gallifreyan tech, and K-9 (but beware of Cybermen, Daleks, Weeping Angels, and the Master) and play the most ever-changingest, timey-wimey version of Fluxx ever created. Doctor Who Fluxx: you'll play it time after time after time after time...2
Be sure to check out the demo from the creators of the game themselves!
And like all of our games, we're offering Doctor Who Fluxx below retail price, so you can have your next game night for less!

BBC, DOCTOR WHO (word marks, logos and devices), TARDIS, DALEKS, CYBERMAN and K-9 (word marks and devices) are trade marks of the British Broadcasting Corporation and all of the fun legal stuff to say that I didn't come up with this, and am not pretending to have done so. But man oh man, I wish I did. I mean, these Doctor Who folks just have to be rolling in it! :)
